Universidad de El Salvador, ‘this space is occupied!’

Filed under: Uncategorized — samanthabass @ 12:02 am

Classes were supposed to start at the National University today, but the students are protesting and occupied the space. They aren’t going to give back the school until the administration allows more students into the University. It is the only public university in El Salvador, and the students are wearing masks.

    • hi grandma and grandpa!
the national university is the only public university in the country, all the other universities are private and very expensive. the students are occupying the university until they admit more students. they are also demanding a meeting with administrators to discuss university admittance.
the weather is wonderful – it’s really hot, never rains. ever. gets cooler at night.
i take turns using whatever computer isn’t occupied at the time.
have fun in florida! i’m really busy here with activities and schoolwork but will try to keep posting as much as possible!
      love
